Opening an old trunk, a ramshackle presenter and a clumsy puppeteer will rediscover Mengone Torcicolli, a Marche mask created in the early nineteenth century by Andrea Longino Cardinali and Pacifico Quadrini.
In a fun and light-hearted way, they will stage a compelling story, full of all the twists and turns of the puppet plot: from the kidnapping of the protagonist’s wife, Lisetta, by the evil Brigante Mastrillu, to the presence of a cunning helper, Rugantino, mask already known in other contexts, transformed into a donkey, until the complete victory against the perfidious witch.
