The guest star of the “Note di Festa” concert on December 28th at 09:00 pm (Italian time) will be Elio.
On the stage of the Ebe Stignani Theater in Imola Elio will tell a curious story whose text was written by the well-known music critic Stefano Valanzuolo.
The text comes from the idea of imagining Mozart as a ghost writer in Rossini‘s service. The idea, taken up and developed here, already appears in the opera “A secret of importance”, with music by Sergio Rendine on a libretto by Lorenzo Arruga, a refined and brilliant music critic.

The Christmas concert offered as tradition by the Cassa di Risparmio di Imola Foundation will be in the name of the Strauss family and Mozart Note di Festa, which for the occasion invited one of the most prestigious and loved chamber orchestras in the world, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists , acclaimed Salzburg ensemble, conducted by violinist and conductor Lavard Skou-Larsen. Guest star of the evening the eclectic and brilliant Elio who will accompany the public on a journey to discover some of the masterpieces of the sons of Johann Strauss and Mozart, with a brief foray into an opera by Rossini.
